Do these systems include a condensate pump?
Yes, all ceiling cassette systems in the RTF series include condensate pumps.
How is the wall mounted controller connected?
The wall mounted controller is supplied with a 6m plug-in lead that connects directly to the indoor unit.
Longer lengths are available on request.
Where does the mains power connect?
The SC system requires seperate power supplies to the indoor unit and external compressor.
The interconnecting cable is for signal only.
Every model in the SC range is supplied with 2 pre-wired aircon isolators, one for connecting power to the indoor cassette unit, the other for connecting mains power to the compressor.
Are these cheaper to run than a regular electric heater?
Yes, the reverse cycle technology used in all Speedyfit RTF systems delivers over 4 times the amount of heat energy compared to a conventional electric heater.
At best, an electric heater generates 1kw of heat energy for every 1kw/h of electricity consumed. With a Speedyfit RTF heat pump system you generate up to 4.5kw of heat for the same 1kw/h of consumption.
To put it another way, end users can save over 75% on their electric heating bills and enjoy the benefit of cool fresh air during our warmer months.
