Do these systems include a condensate pump?
In short, no, with such a flexible system the cost of including a built-in pump is unnecessary for a large majority of installations.
Speedyfit offers a wide range of pumps that are far more economical to puchase seperately if required.
Where Do I Connect The Power?
EC systems only require a single power connection to power both the indoor and external unit simultaneously.
Power to the indoor unit is supplied from the external compressor using the 5 core power and signal cable provided.
Power to the external compressor is connected via the pre-wired aircon isolation switch included with every system.
Are these cheaper to run than a regular electric heater?
Yes, the reverse cycle technology used in all Speedyfit RTF systems delivers over 4 times the amount of heat energy compared to a conventional electric heater.
At best, an electric heater generates 1kw of heat energy for every 1kw/h of electricity consumed. With a Speedyfit RTF heat pump system you generate up to 4.5kw of heat for the same 1kw/h of consumption.
To put it another way, end users can save over 75% on their electric heating bills and enjoy the benefit of cool fresh air during our warmer months.
Do these systems come with voice control?
Each model in the EC range is supplied complete with infrared remote control, WIFI control and voice activation using an "Alexa " device.
The system will automatically update to include Google voice control when it becomes available.
Why are there no extras available for this system?
Quite simply, there's nothing else we can add to make this system better than it already is.
For certain installations you may require a pump and you might also want to purchase a ducting system, but as a kit, it comes with everything as standard.
