Do these systems include a condensate pump?
Yes, all ceiling cassette systems in the RTF series include condensate pumps.
The pump built-in to the CC range can lift condensate up to height of 750mm.
How is the wall mounted controller connected?
The wall mounted controller is supplied with a 6m plug-in lead that connects directly to the indoor unit.
Longer lengths are available on request.
Where does the mains power connect?
CC systems only require a single connection to power both the indoor and external unit simultaneously.
Power to the indoor unit is supplied from the external compressor using the 4-core power and signal cable provided.
Power to the external compressor is connected via the pre-wired aircon isolation switch included with every CC system.
Are these cheaper to run than a regular electric heater?
Yes, the reverse cycle technology used in all Speedyfit RTF systems delivers over 4 times the amount of heat energy compared to a conventional electric heater.
At best, an electric heater generates 1kw of heat energy for every 1kw/h of electricity consumed. With a Speedyfit RTF heat pump system you generate up to 4.5kw of heat for the same 1kw/h of consumption.
To put it another way, end users can save over 75% on their electric heating bills and enjoy the benefit of cool fresh air during our warmer months.
